Born and raised in Costa de Caparica, a small city in Portugal surrounded by the sea. I grew up between two avenues: Ocean Avenue and Sea Avenue, almost an omen to one of my first loves that came hand in hand with photography.
At 5 years old, I got my first camera: an iconic Tweety’s polaroid and that’s when the pandora’s box opened up for me. Along came the endless pictures and family movies and, eventually, a new way to express.
Never imagined doing the same thing forever, so that's why I explored and worked at diverse areas and that's probably why when I was little and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I would answered: "I want to be an elephant".
