Born and raised in Costa de Caparica, a small seaside city in Portugal, I grew up surrounded by nature and beauty, which taught me to look at the world with wonder — and sparked a need to share what I see and feel.

At five years old, I got my first camera — an iconic Tweety Polaroid — and that’s when Pandora’s box opened. From that moment on, there were endless pictures, family movies, and eventually, a whole new way to express myself.

I never imagined doing the same thing forever, which is why I explored and worked across different fields. Maybe that’s also why, when I was little and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would answer: “I want to be an elephant.”
